East Bentleigh

Designed as a complete living environment, the front and rear gardens are intentionally and cohesively connected through a shared palette, material language and planting rhythm. What begins as a welcoming, nostalgic streetscape transitions seamlessly into a private, flower-filled backyard, where structure softens and the garden becomes more immersive and relaxed.

Layered, expressive planting carries throughout, creating a sense of continuity while allowing each space to shift in mood, from arrival to retreat. At the rear, the garden opens into a highly livable outdoor room, designed for everyday moments, BBQs, long afternoons, and informal gatherings where the boundaries between house and garden dissolve.

The result is a townhouse landscape that feels unified, generous and deeply human, balancing architectural clarity with a loose, abundant, and quietly nostalgic planting style.
